Laughter is the best medicine

Which is obviously why the HPA make their swab taking kit so tickly, I presume. We won't know the results until well after he has had his enforced 7 day isolation period but it was fun to do anyway. And will be interesting to know whether he has actually had mumps or not. Face is about the same size today but seems to be in a lot less pain which is making him much happier and able to do stuff. It's not the worst timed illness as coming straight on the back of his birthday he has lots of new and interesting things to do. Top of the bill this morning was his present from SooB - a magnetic football table kit that allows him to be "Football God" (his words) as he was able to be in charge of 96 teams at anyone time. Such are his powers that once I pointed out who SooB supported they were promoted two leagues and 10 positions with lightening speed!

A and I are off to an afternoon of local theatre with friends and then I have a GNO in a very nice looking pub in Hammersmith (with the visiting SooB) which makes me happy that I have been a productive member of the family today.
