St. Bernard's Well

After much wandering round I eventually managed to find my way down to St. Bernard's Well in Stockbridge, somewhere I have been meaning to visit for a while.

I made my biggest photographic booboo ever as well. I took a roll of film I haven't used before, Adox ISO25, which is apparently very fine grained. I also used my recently acquired Red Filter, which is supposed to increase contrast in skies, water and possibly foliage when used with B&W film. Unfortunately Adox ISO25 is an Orthochromatic as opposed to Panchromatic film and it is not sensitive to light in the red spectrum. Net result of filtering out everything apart from red light on a film that is not sensitive to red light is, of course, no pictures!

Lukily i took a roll of normal FP4+ whilst there so not a total loss.

There were an awful lot of people out taking pictures and after I while I guesed it was maybe a club outing.

I vowed recently not to try putting up pictures taken on film but unfortunately forgot my digital camera and my phone batteries were dead. Hopefully it will get past the approvers...

Have a job interview arranged for Manday afternoon in Glasgow so I will have to start practising my skills again, ho hum...
