Benefits of kids that wake up at the crack of dawn

I think Tara and Hari thought I had gone mad this morning ..... they woke me up later than usual today (6.30am rather that 5.30)!!! and I could see the beginnings of a beautiful sunrise.

I got showered and dressed and bundled the kids in the car still in their pyjamas and we went to look for pink sky........

It turned out more orange than pink but no one seemed to mind ...... we drove round for a bit and stopped in a couple of places to take pictures .... and I've also realised another place to go another morning....

The other half is still asleep, but when we got home Michael my eldest was wondering where on earth we'd been.
