Old fashioned phone box

I went to the Dulwich Picture Gallery today with Adeline and Darren.

Adeline had written her doctorate on an American artist called Oscar Bluemner and there was a rare chance to see a piece of his work in the current exhibition.

Generally I go to the gallery for the architecture rather than the pictures (the curator pleases little old ladies), but there were some delightful pieces in the show.

During lunch Darren got nostalgic about Camberwell (!!!???) while Adeline and I tried to nip that in the bud!... South London... NO!

We found the phone box on the far side of the grounds. Nice red box with an old phone and the box at the side with the letters A and B written on them in large reassuring type.

There were of course no instructions about what A and B referred to and from my dim and distant memory, it didn't make sense even when you did have the instructions... so hey! thank goodness for mobiles!
