Alan Stobie's little eye

By stobston

One last time.

60 seconds. A precious lone moment, sitting holding my gorgeous little girl. Looking into her eyes. Wondering if she can make out anything of the person in front of her. Watching those little dark pools look right back.

60 seconds of not feeling like a stranger looking in from the sidelines.

60 seconds where I didn't worry that I wasn't doing things right. Just felt like I was.

It seems like it's been a very, very long, arduous week. For everyone.

Sometimes we all need to take a minute.
