Let there be light!

After my earlier disappointment with a seemingly dead E510, today a miracle occurred. A really cheap (£0.99) spare battery I had bought on e-bay arrived and I charged it. I then stuck it in the camera just on the off-chance, and lo and behold it worked!!! It's bizarre that the original battery seemed to charrge OK and showed full on the charger but was in fact completely dead!

It's just as well, since the shop still hasn't got back to me to say they have a replacement in.

Anyway this it the first blip from the shiney new E510, a light fitting at the Whisky Society on Queen Street. It is a friends birthday on Saturday and we have other mutual friends staying with us so they can join the celebrations. It seemed only appropriate that we should have s Friday night dram or two in preparation...

It's gonna be interesting getting used to the new camera - watch this space!!!
