Tubular towers

Was definitely on a high last night and S was very kind and helped me celebrate with a few glasses of the Prosecco (not sure it was the wisest idea on a day when lunch just didn't happen) but the Room came up trumps again with dinner.

Stated today with T and we agreed a plan for next week, so much to do and not enough time to do it. Then a breakfast brioche with K at Falko's followed by a bit of shopping and home to this, that and the other.

The roofing continues. Much banging and crashing overhead as the slates are stripped of the living room roof. Yet more scaffolding going up at the back for the chimney work.

I bought cakes at Falko's - waiting patiently for #2 son to come along so I can have one. If he doesn't arrive soon, I will just have to start without him.

Out tonight with B and M, down from Inverurie. It will be great to catch up and who knows, there may be a few glasses of the fizzy stuff!
