Moments to remember

The first time I got the honor of visiting my boyfriends mother, she asked us to write our names and the date to the cork of a champagne bottle that we just opened. In that way we would have a memory of that festive day, captured in that small piece. I thought that was an idea too great to forget.

Now when we have a celebration in our home that's worth remembering, we try to remember writing that sweet occasion in to a wine cork. I think it also works as fun decorating effect.
