Sound of Music

What a long busy day it's been today.

It was off to the Theatre at 11.45am for rehearsals, and then the girls all got into their 'costumes' for the show (A Night of The Musicals) to begin at 2.30pm, they only went on at 3.15pm and were finished once they'd sang and performed 'Do Re Me' and 'So Long Farewell', they then returned to the changing rooms to find the door locked, so the code for that needed to be found, but it didn't work, then we had to wait for the caretaker to arrive, it was too much longer and we were in, and the girls could change back into their clothes and head home. It was back home for a 'break' and then we returned to the theatre by 7pm for the evening show which started at 7.30pm, the show ended just after 10pm. Aiden loved it, and had the biggest smile throughout, on the way home she was in tears saying she didn't want it to end.

Unfortunately, due to 'Health & Safety' or being 'PC' or whatever those rules are here, no photos were allowed to be taken, nor even a DVD of the show was being taken to purchase afterwards, so all I have is the photo I took in the changing rooms. Sad that after all the effort and time the performers put into it, that all they have is the memory in their heads. It's so nice to have 'something' to look back on one day.
