One Blossom, on the Skin of Water

Today's blip is actually a guest blip arranged by my youngest daughter G. She picked one of the roses from the little garden out back, and set it afloat on a wide-lipped stoneware bowl; then snapped the photo for her poor old mum, who has been so pressed and prickled with deadlines and work of late...

On the writing front, I am happy to report that I am still running daily with the Muse--- My 334th day of writing a poem a day at Dave Bonta's Via Negativa site.

Not too long ago, poet Marly Youmans asked me to share some of my process via her own blog ; at nearly a year of daily writing practice, I'm loving it more than ever.

I hope you can find some time to visit, and read through the poems in the series, which are archived by season (Morning Porch Poems Winter 2010-11, Spring 2011, Summer 2011, and Autumn 2011).
