Journey home with a stop off for lunch at Alnwick's Barter Books. The girl on the left will soon be starting to learn to read, the girl on the right can read very well already. She helps us out with the story-reading quite often, helpful big sister that she is.

We had some oldish CDs in the car to keep us going. My favourite was an absolute era-defining classic. We coughed occasionally to hide the lyics when Jarvis got a bit too saucy, which was quite often.
