Pier, Bangor

Took a bracing walk along Bangor Pier this afternoon & lots of photos of metalwork. This one won though, on account of the legendary scones!.. I played a shared show at Powis Hall with Gareth Davis Jones tonight (no, not a local lad-Bangor he grew up in was in Northern Ireland.) it was a nice chance to test my wings after months without playing & my first solo appearance in about eight years (aside from a one-off songwriter circle and two songs at an open mic.) Nerve racking stuff...I think it went fine. Considering this time last week I had zero voice & lost a week of rehearsal time it was pretty good!
Was thinking about getting up for 8am to go swimming as public swimming is from 8am-8.30am: but actually I might wait till I get back to town & take my time a bit instead!...Half an hour?? C'mon...
