An unfortunate auld fella

This poor chap is the last major piece of archaeology to be excavated on site. He seems to have been encountered during excavation of a subsequent medieval burial and basically been pushed to one side, making untagling his remains like a huge game of pick-up-sticks.

RH turned up for work today and was randomly seconded for a day to work on a programme about snow.

LH is tired of long days travelling and digging skeletons. :(
