The end of another day

This run of lovely Autumn days is producing some fabulous natural beauty. My drive to work this morning was beautiful with the first real frost of the year coating the fields in white. Didn't have time to stop unfortunately.

Heading home tonight I was wondering if the sunset would be worth a shot. The sky wasn't as dramatic as it has been in recent days as there was very little cloud. I decided to give it a go and turned off my usual route onto a country road. This is the result. Not the most spectacular sunset but some gorgeous colours.

Here are a couple of other shots of the view to the left of the main blip. I particularly liked the vapour trail.
