My New Boots

This was the most exciting part of my day today - finally deciding on which new boots to buy for the upcoming winter. They are for everyday wear and had to be:

*comfortable
*warm
*something I liked
* not wildly expensive

These cute Rieker boots ticked all the boxes and the lovely cosy real wool lining is a fabulous bonus!

The backdrop is the wonderful hand made patchwork table clothe that my niece Rosamund made for me over 8 years ago and is a treasured possession. This will be the first and only time that the boots will be allowed on the table!
