Early Morning Sky

Above Lochardil. Every promise of a nice bright day but it didn't last for long. This is looking east but sometimes we get great long cloud "sausages" coming from the west through the Great Glen as if the glen were a giant cloud sausage machine. They're very long dark cylinders. I'm sure it's position at the end of the Great Glen has a strong local effect on the weather in Inverness.
