This Bud's for You

Just a Wednesday, nothing unusual!

Did my Writing Center duty at the campus this morning.

Then I went to Petco, Kohl's, PetSmart, Staples, Albertson's, and Stater Bros. because I'm looking for a winter jacket for Chloe, so I looked at the two pet places, but those winter jackets aren't available yet, or at least not the style that I want for her. I had thirty "Kohl's Bucks" from the last time I had shopped there, so I purchased a couple of shirts for me and, of course, spent more than the Kohl's bucks. Staples has an iPad cover/keyboard combo that one of my co-workers has and I had a $5 off coupon. Now I have a cover/keyboard combo. Albertson's grocery store had asparagus on sale and Stater Bros is offering two bags of cinnamon scented pinecones for $8.

With all of that accomplished, I headed for home to let the dogs out of their crates and to continue reading and grading student papers (that's an ongoing activity during this mid-way point of the semester). I walked out into the backyard with the pooches and captured a photo of these mini-roses, with little Chloe in the background.

Mr. Fun phoned about 5 o'clock to let me know he was going to be late. So I kept grading papers. When he arrived home, it was time to grill veggies, make a salad, and eat dinner.

Like I stated at the beginning -- Just a Wednesday, nothing unusual.
