Canoeing and Park Clean Up

Today I went with Jack's class on a field trip. The trip was to a nearby park where we spent an hour or more pulling out ivy, berry bushes and other plants that were invading the grounds. After our clean up time was over we all went on a very large canoe which sat approximately 20 people and went for a canoe ride up the Willamette River where it meets the Clackamas River. I strategically sat in the middle seat to avoid rowing however one of the boys I was in charge of (my friends son) wimped out on me and I had to trade him and row the majority of the trip. It was a great ride and we were lucky the rain held off until shortly after we returned.
