This is a lesson in how to deal with horrible artificial light when you're too tired to take a decent photo.

Don't!

Unless you're doing a photo a day and then you try to rescue it. First by fixing the white balance when you process the RAW file. Then converting it to black and white using Silver Efex Pro in Photoshop. Then... cross fingers and hope that a bit of dramatic lighting and a little grain for character will disguise the fact that today wasn't your day where photography was concerned!
