The Farmer's Market

I went to the farmer's market this morning, but I was too early. Seems they went on winter hours today, 1o am - 2 pm. I got there at nine o'clock while most of the vendors were still setting up.

This guy was just about finished. He's an ex-Marine who has taken up Western/Native American acrylic painting as a hobby. As you can see, his work is quite vivid.

I took a couple of shots and he was hiding behind the grate but I asked him if he wanted to stand next to his artwork. He was really happy I asked him. He said he was really proud of his work. We chatted a while.

I saw a few things I'd like to buy. I might go back later with some cash. Of course, they will be back every Wednesday through the winter, so I can pace myself.
