Rakanji Temple

Rakanji Temple is one of the 3 largest Gyohyaku Rakan in Japan.

The temple is built into Mt. Rakan and has 500 statues of Buddha disciples. Some parts of this temple date back to the 13th century. Time was short and we did not get to see all the parts of the site, but was we did see was breath taking.
