First Snow.

Headed out early this morning. The light was low and warm and I reckoned it was now or never. I've got a mountain of paperwork to do, a load of ironing and some some buttons to sew on as a matter of emergency. The man's off to a conference in Crieff tomorrow and well, it's likely to be cold.

Crieff lies a bit further south than the hills you see here. This view looks NNW across Strathmore from a point just outside the village. The snow you see is quite a bit away but the wind blowing over it is a tad chilly. If you are venturing up there any time soon, I recommend thermals, hats and gloves... as well as trousers with buttons on them!

PS First snow visible from the village yesterday. Today is the first day it's been clear enough to get an image.
