Fresh Milk and Thai Custard

There's a stall in the market that advertises fresh milk. They make milk shakes, honey milk drinks, iced milk tea, and hot chocolate. It has always seemed a little strange to me that stands advertise "Fresh Milk"...would you sell any other type? However, I do kind of understand because boxed and canned milk is so common in Thailand that the "fresh" stuff has a distinct and delicious taste.

The other thing sold at the stand is Thai custard. It's green goopy stuff that tastes great. Usually they toast bread and spread a nice, thick layer over the top like this. You can also buy a small bag of it and take it home to eat with bread chunks that they heat up over the steaming milk before you buy them. Yum Yum! :)
