Bald Eagle

This princely bird of prey was patiently waiting to fish for salmon in the river below. We were on our way to a small ranch in wilderness British Columbia to see grizzly bears in the wild when we stopped by this beautiful river which had an abundance of bald eagles in its vicinity. We'd never been so close to such a large bird of prey in the wild before.
