Knippelsbro

This is one of two towers on the bridge next to my (temporary) office. (The name of the bridge - Knippelsbro - still makes me giggle, even though it's my third week in Copenhagen. I must have a mental age of about 11.)

The towers are presumably involved in the raising and lowering of this Bascule bridge. From a distance (maybe not obvious here) the copper panels always remind me of fish scales.
