Lichen

Lichens have many fascinating forms and colours. I'm afraid I know nothing about the different types - another area of knowledge that's pretty much a blank.

This was in a hedge by a track to the local reserve. Just a quick 15 minutes outing to get a blip. And this is just day 7. Previously I might not have got out at all today.

For me photography is still more of an outdoor than an indoor activity. Maybe we'll see if things change. Whether I'll ever get into taking portraits of people I doubt, simply because I'm not keen on having my own picture taken (taking after my Mum who would not be at all willing to be a subject for a blip).

Thankfully I am learning that there is plenty on the doorstep outside to keep me occupied. Combined with the different weather conditions each day, the time of day, and the changing seasons, the possibilities are endless even in a restricted area, I would think. Hopefully I will be able to get further afield more often soon.
