Bleached Ghosts
Yipeeeeee! The sun has graced us with its presence today. I had almost forgotten what it looked like. Mind you we are still doing our best to remain vertical on account of the wind. Fortunately there was a handy fence post at my shooting position which I duly used to brace myself, camera andtelephoto lens. Otherwise you may have had a fine action shot instead, the action mainly being me adopting a sudden and involuntary horizontal position.
This poor line of trees gave up trying to survive a long time ago, probably battered to death by the onshore wind. Their bones have been bleached white. Next stop will be collapse and return to the earth which first gave them life.
