Not the 07:00 to Glasgow

We early-morning passengers stared and stared at the wagons of the cement train, but they resolutely refused to become the Plymouth to Glasgow Cross Country service.

Because the points were broken, they couldn't move this train.

So the train to Glasgow was cancelled.

All of which meant I had to drive to Glasgow. And I have to say, it's not easy to read your book on the M8.
