Jardines Japonesas

I don't have class on Mondays so I did a few errands in the morning and then headed to the Japonese Gardens on Av. Libertador and Casares today! It was really cheap to enter, only 8 pesos. The gardens were pretty, but I think I like the ones in San Francisco better. One things these gardens had that I don't remember from San Fran's was HUGE MOTHERFUDGING CARP FISH. These babies were kind of scary, I remembered thinking that I would not want to fall into that water. The pidgeons were braver than me though, they kept flying around the waters edge, as if they even had a chance at catching one of those guys. I asked the lady in the cultural center about the free massages but they only have those on Saturday's from 2 to 5. Ah well.
I was supposed to head to my first hipjazz class tonight but Flor ended up not going and I didn't want to go to my first class alone! Until next Monday I suppose?
For future reference, in the Jewish cultural centers throughout the city they offer free classes that go on a semester basis, like the universities. They go by first come first serve so make sure to sign up quick! The limit is 3 classes per semester. You have to register, it costs nothing, and then sign up through the site. Anyone planning on travelling to Buenos Aires next semester I would highly recommend checking these out, a cool chance to meet locals and a different type of environment in which to practice your Spanish!
