Scouting around

The rather impressive construction is simply described as a cairn, although it looks as if a whole family could live in it. Embedded in its walls are three or four memorials to the Scouts' collective longevity and individual mortality, covering a period from the early 1980s to the present. Emerging through the fog it seemed more organic than mineral. It's on top of Pendle Hill, most famous for its association with the witch trials of 1612.

This is my longest run yet of consecutive blips. Becoming a habit....
