Bad grammar?

This prompted a small debate on grammar.

Well! After staying up way too late last night so that I could magnanimously distribute my balloons on all and sundry I was a bit knackered today. And then my usual Tuesday commitment was called off - hoorah, result!

So worked late - boo. But went for a quick pint after - hoorah
