RIP Dan

Although I knew Dan to say hello to I didn't class him as a friend until we appeared together as children on a Saturday morning kids tv show. Dan was the big star, a couple of years older than me and the treble British champion in the class he had just graduated from and I was just starting in. But he was one of the nicest, friendliest kids on the karting scene and following from that we were friends until he headed off to the states to progress his racing career and we lost touch.

I am so sad to hear of his death and my thoughts are with his young family, his parents and extended family.

RIP Dan you were a great guy.
