Plant shifting

A day mostly wrangling at the laptop with Word 10 and Mathtype.

With rumours of impending frosts, I was thinking that we might soon need to turn on some heating in this place. So I moved the Podocarpus macrophyllus through to the bedroom windowsill. It's a handsome undemanding plant, but apparently it doesn't like too much heat. The book says to put it in a well lit spot, and that some direct sunshine is OK. Hah! We can manage the lack of heat, but this was the brightest that it got today so it'll have to whistle for the good light.

I didn't bother to clear the condensation off the window since the view outside was solid pissing rain all day.

Edit: two of today's blips made me laugh out loud. One was of tookie's hooligan dogs being "helpful" and one was of some topiary in Hartlepool. I hope that they cheer you up too!
