Last bird

The sun is going down far too quickly these days. At the family dinner tonight I was hoping to capture some images of birds or flowers in the setting sun, but by the time I got there, the sun had already left the yard and I was left with shadows. I thought that I would try to get a bird shot anyway. When I walked into the yard, all but this bird flew away - I am not sure what this guy was doing on the feeder, but it was an interesting pose and I was able to use a patch of light in the background to give some light and depth to the capture. Guess I will have to start dropping by earlier!
