Fog on Arrival

Subject: Fog forecast for DXB 17 OCT 2011 - 0100-0300z/0500-0700lt

The Dubai MET office has issued a FOG forecast calling for a 30 percent probability of FOG, with reduced visibility possibly down to 0200 meters, between 0500 and 0700 Dubai local time, on the 17th of October 2011.

Flights due to arrive in DXB during this period will carry additional holding fuel and will use longer alternates. Cargo may be offloaded to facilitate carrying the extra fuel.

Please ensure that all relevant departments and personnel are fully briefed & prepared.
