Huckleberry Bush 10-16-11

The pie was delicious!! For those who didn't know what Huckleberries looked like, I took a picture today of a Blue and a Red Huckleberry bush. The Blue ones are sweeter with more flavor and the bush has greener leaves that stay year around. The Red ones have less flavor and the bush is a lighter green. We will still have berries on for another few weeks. Hope you've all had a wonderful weekend. Hubby and I just came from daughter Annie's after sharing a wonderful dinner with both of our daughters and their hubbies and niece Janet. They all loved the pie after a great roast beef dinner.
