Afternoon Coffee

Peopletwitcher and I had a drive out into deepest rural Perthshire this afternoon and popped into Gleneagles Hotel for a coffee and cake. As you might expect the grounds are beautifully kept and there were several opportunities for pictures. I didn't think the hotel itself was interesting enough so I had an attempt at an HDR image which I would say was only partially successful. I have seen several HDR images on Blip which are excellent and this is a technique I need to get to grips with. This was an amalgamation of 7 handheld images taken at 2/3 stop intervals, followed by a bit of ham-fisted tweaking.
