Here's lookin' at you ma !

These are a couple of different gadgets that I use to help me look after my mum. The one on the right is the camera that I monitor her with whenever I can't be in the same room. Having to answer the same questions a zillion times is exactly like a form of torture. I have to retreat once I feel myself reach breaking point of tolerance.

So upstairs I have a little monitor that I can watch her on to make sure she isn't doing anything she shouldn't.

The gadget on the left is one half of a type of talking doorbell contraption which I use to speak to mum on (she wouldn't be able to press it to reply to me).

To hear her replies I turn the volume up on the monitor I have upstairs.

So I talk to her through the one thing and listen to her on the other.
This way I can reassure her that I'm about and also tell her what to do or what not to do as the case may be.
