The Diwali Lights were switched on in Leicester tonight, I only found out by reading an information booklet at work today. As it had been a clear, dry day & there was not a cloud in the sky, I thought I'd go down & try & photograph the fireworks.

It's only the second time I've tried to photography fireworks & overall I thought I did a good job. This was taken near the end of the display, I especially liked the silhouette of the crowd as well as the deep red colour
