Is it a bird?......... Well sort of!

Whilst I was sorting through my cupboards and drawers on the bank holiday Monday, I came across many interesting items that I'd long forgotten about. One of them was this very strange object! I'm sure that there must be some of you who have seen these before, I think this must date from the 1950s. It is not really a children's toy, but something that was designed to amuse the grownups! According to the box, it is a very sensitive precision instrument. The bird rocks back and forth and gradually manages to dip his bill into the glass of water which then sends him back into a rocking motion. This will go on indefinitely according to the instructions which say that all you have to do is change the water every day. To think that I have kept this in a draw for all these years and I can't remember ever seeing it working before. As you can tell, I couldn't really think what to take a photo of for today's blip but at least I eventually found something! It's a shame that you can't see the moving action. I was going to try to submit a series of photos to show this but wasn't sure how you achieve this. I am sure that there are some photoshop experts out there that could advise me how you put say four photos together and frame them as one.
