My point, if I had a point.

These are arrow heads found on my family's farm. A few pieces are tools, I think. I grew up with a passion for rocks and arrow heads. I loved, still do, the hunt. Since the Choctaw Reservation is near our farm, I have assumed, over the years, that they are of the Choctaw tribe. However, Mom resently said they could also be Chickasaw. It seems her grandfather hunted with Chickasaw when he was growing up, well over 150 yrs ago. He was living within a couple hours during that time. So, I don't actually know who made these.
There are several locations on the farm. All are near a creek and on a slight rise. When I was growing up, my Dad farmed cotton and I loved when Spring came around and the ground would be plowed for planting. I'd wait for a spring shower to uncover what he had plowed, slip into my boots and head out! Great fun.
