College Reunions

... aren't complete without the homecoming football game! I like this picture because everyone in it seems to be moving.

This was taken at Bridgewater College in Virginia, where my husband celebrated his 30th anniversary of graduation on Saturday (and where, incidentally, we met while I was an exchange student...).

Many things have changed: new buildings; new sports fields; the appearance of our contemporaries ("who is this???"). Others have stayed exactly the same: the rural setting, the family atmosphere of a small college which had made me feel so welcome, and the friendliness of people ending every other sentence with the word "honey."
