Here be dragons!!
Another fantastically lovely Autumn day today. Watched the rugby while I did the ironing then went off down to Minsmere. Lots of people about as one or two rarities in the vicinity. Not interested in rarities really. But I did like this dragonfly - not sure of id. A skimmer?!?! Here's another view.
Now, unlike some on here, I'm not very good at birds. So was quite pleased with this one of a Wren. Would have cropped it but liked the background effects.
I love this time of year. The light is so beautiful and the colours so fabulous like these Birches. And then there's sunlight through leaves - always a favourite.
After a couple of hours at Minsmere went along to Westleton Heath to look at the Red Deer rut. This is, apparently, the largest wild herd in England. Sorry but they were a long way away!!!!
An added bonus was this fox who got a bit of a shock when he saw the gathered hoards of spectators!!
A beautiful afternoon in a lovely place. Wonder how many more days like these we'll have?
