Spooky hedge man

I was doing some work in the garden this afternoon and this hedge man emerged without warning from the shrubbery. I was so suprised I dropped my spade! I'd heard rumours of them but to be honest had always thought they were a bit of an urban myth. I know he looks quite angry in this shot, but actually he was very pleasant. He was just lost and wanted some directions.
