Sharing Secrets...

Yesterday was Lyssa's 13th birthday, which she chose to spend with her friend Jackie. There was shopping (without the burden of a parent, who waited to do taxi service) and then the night was spent camping in the living room (well, sleeping on the sofas) while watching TV and eating lots of junk.

Today we went to the Samye Ling Buddhist Temple one of my favourite places, to soak up all that wonderful peace and tranquility that resides there. Lyssa, Nevyn and Jackie wandered by themselves, doing what all teenage girls do - gossip. Nevyn got bored and ran around a lot!!

I think everyone had a good time. Nevyn forgot all the lunches, but we made up for it by having fish and chips at a lovely chippy in Lockerbie that we always manage to visit. (Special thanks to Dotty for the wonderful dieting idea of taking 'S' days off; so as today was Sunday and also a Special day the diet was put on the backburner).
