The Screes, Wasdale
Last night's Joss Naylor dinner celebrated twenty years of the crossing from Pooley Bridge to Joss's home at Greendale Bridge. Forty eight miles across the Lake District climbing some of the most significant peaks. It's become a tradition to join Joss on a walk on the Sunday morning, usually over Buckbarrow and this morning over Middle Fell. We visited Joss's Millenium seat which he built to celebrate the turning of the 21st century and which you can see me sitting on in my profile pic.
These are the famous Screes at across Wast Water which go as far below the water as they are high above it.
