Urban Family

This is Annie, whose son Daniel has featured here a couple of times, with Lila, our mutual friend Megan's new daughter.

Annie, Megan and Kathryn typify for me the notion of urban family. We all worked together for about eight months ten years ago. Aside from that, we have little in common on paper but the four of us have stuck together ever since. Through a variety of jobs, career changes, relocations, beautiful joys and deep sorrows, we have been connected. The last time all four of us were together was at Megan's wedding back in April.

Since then two babies have been born and we needed to reconnect. This is one of many really special moments.
