Kerala Backwaters

The view from where our houseboat was moored after a day cruising the peaceful backwaters of Kerala. Just the two of us and a crew of 3, some amazing food and an insight into the life of the locals: men fishing, women working in the rice fields and everyone using the river for bathing and washing clothes and cooking utensils. A magical day!
