Happy Chappy

My son got his first contract phone yesterday, it is a Samsung Galaxy Ace. It has not worked as I put the sim card into the wrong slot. I sorted it out today and he is happy as Larry!
He has now entered the world of the smart phone, when I was 11 all I had to worry about was how to get a tape to work to play a game on my ZX Spectrum so I could play a game. Normally fiddling with the tape load would allow most games to work!
How times have changed and it is still down to me to sort out an gadget problem, not with just family but friends often drop off laptops and phones for me to sort out. To be honest I not that clued up I just look at the problem and pray to the lord to help me fix it.

This got me thinking about the challenge of October Origins as all those years messing about with spectrums and taking cb's apart has probably helped me get to the way I think about situations today.
