rebuilding works

unfortunately pruning a rose in the front garden I managed to pretty much destroy this chap's web.

Experimenting with the tripod trying (without noticable success) to get sharper shots of various spiders round the front garden I did manage to get this one of him starting to put things right again.

Funny weekend, very disappointed for the team in Auckland yesterday, but we had a nice evening - both boys and their families came over so we had a good time with the grandchildren (left the grown-ups to fend for themselves while some serious doting went on.

Today we got on with chores, did a lot of sorting out of the front garden, had a visit from one of Ant's brothers and generally chilled. Molly's doing in a flying visit which will be nice
